Once it sees the files it will process them. It is a VB script that runs as a scheduled task (but continues to run in the background as a service) essentially and watches for files incoming to a specific folder. I also had to automate restarting a process that runs on the same server. ![]() ![]() We have a 30-40min outage every week during a full backup of the AS400, so we reboot the server during this time (also will apply patches if any are needed). Usually something takes a shit during the week - quickest way to resolve it is to reboot since it takes about 10 seconds for everything to come back up. It’s running a collection of Classic ASP, PHP 5.4 and VB scripts. I just instituted a weekly reboot of a “web server” that is essentially a monolithic collection of separate modules that connect back to an AS400 database.
